    • Live proctors can end the session of a candidate using the new ‘End Session’ button.

      • Note that candidates that leave the exam room without clicking the ‘Finish Exam’ button will no longer be automatically unassigned after 15 minutes. Instead the proctors can decide when to remove the student using the ‘End Session’ button.

    • Live proctors can evaluate each candidate after the session has ended by assigning a RAG (Red/Amber/Green) status. The evaluation step can be skipped using the ‘Evaluate Later’ button and entering a reason (at least 3 words). The session can still be evaluated via the back office application. Candidates will remain assigned to the proctor until either the evaluation is completed OR the skipped.

      • The following message will be shown: "We need to store some information about your session locally, however you have setup your browser to not allow any access to cookies and site data.
        Please go to Chrome settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
        Make sure you don't have "Block all cookies (not recommended)" selected, but any of the other options. Click the "Reload" button after you have enabled cookies.

    • Remove ‘ghost’ students from proctor after 15 minutes of inactivity:

      • When participating in a live proctored exam, a small number of students leave the exam room and do not return to complete (or even start) the exam. This results in the student being assigned to the proctor indefinitely, resulting in a ‘ghost’ session which takes up a student slot. To avoid this problem we are introducing a timeout which will un-assign (remove the stickiness) students who are not connected to the Proctorexam system for more than 15 minutes. After a timeout has occurred, the student may still resume the exam, however they may be assigned to a different proctor.

  • API Improvements (Link to documentation) 

    • API: Refine maximum number of pre-assigned students per proctor limit:

      • The maximum number of students that can be pre-assigned to a proctor at any given moment will be calculated per exam instead of per institute. This will give more flexibility to plan exams across future dates.

    • API: Return pre-assigned proctor in student session API response

    • API: Pre-assigned proctors can be un-assigned before the exam starts:

      • A DELETE operation is being added to the assigned_proctor endpoint which will allow the caller to revoke the assignment of a proctor to a student. This operation can be called up until the first start time of the student session.

Simplify Exam reports

  • The single and multiple exam reports have been merged and renamed to the “Finished Exam Sessions” report. All functionality remains the same.

Add new “Exam Registrations” report

  • This new report will return all exam registrations for exams with a reservation window within the selected date range. The CSV output of this report can be used to audit the current status of each student session and includes an indication of the seat usage. The current release does not factor cancellation into the seat usage calculation but this will be added in an upcoming release.
  • Speed up the loading of student sessions in the admin console


Bug fixes

  •  User locales do not result in translations on some pages and volume control functions of the respective stream.

Improvements:
· A new video player is available in the Back Office view which plays all video streams in sync with each other while offering improved handling of partial video footage.

· Note that individual player controls are hidden by default, but can be made available by right clicking on a specific stream (eg. webcam) and enabling “Show Controls”. This will allow access to the full screen.

Partial or corrupt videos
· Some exam sessions may have recordings which were interrupted during the exam. This can happen when one or more of the video streams failed for technical reasons (eg. due to insufficient bandwidth). In such cases the recording may consist of multiple video segments which the player will show in the sequence that they were recorded. The length of each sequence can be seen at the top left corner of each stream.

· Interrupted video segments may not have an end time. These can be recognised by the ∞ symbol at the top left corner of the relevant stream and the seek control replaced by the message “SEEKING DISABLED DUE TO CORRUPT VIDEO”. These videos can still be played but you will not be able to scroll forward or backwards until the given segment of video has played all the way to the end (so that the player can identify the correct length).

1 - Spelling mistakes in the back office have been corrected.

3 - In the back office, “Incidents” are replaced by “Comments” to reflect how sessions are documented.
4 - “Suspicious exams” column has been removed in the back office as this column only covers comments.
 
Fixes:
1 - Creating an exam from a LMS was blocking at step 2 (reviewer instructions). Now it is possible to complete the entire create an exam flow.
2 - From the LMS, changing the last start time of an exam was not saved after modification. It is now possible to edit.
3 - It was possible to edit the start date of an exam after a student started his exam, causing an “out of bounds” error. It is not possible to edit the start date of an exam anymore after a student started it.
4 - After deleting a superuser, it would still appear on the list of users (still as a superuser). It is now possible to definitely remove a superuser.

1. We’ve added instructions for the student when installing the extension. We will now ask them to refresh the page after the installation

3. We will now accept uploads of files with non-standard characters
4. You can now see the reviewed status of an exam from the main page of the backoffice with Red, Amber, and Green indicators
5. Super Users are now able to invite Super Users, Administrators can now invite Auditors, Proctors, and Reviewers
6. Tawk messages will now trigger an indication in the browser tab

Bugs:
1. Tawk messages are shown correctly in the backoffice
2. Proctor – Student chat now works correctly

Documentation:
1. Our documentation now includes a sample response to API queries
