New Exam Taker Experience

The ProctorExam team is excited to announce the General Availability (GA) of our modernised exam-taker experience.

ProctorExam recognises that a seamless candidate experience is critical to ensure the success of remotely proctored assessments and has worked to incorporate feedback from both exam takers and exam organisers into a fresh and refined new look. 

The feature is now available on all customer environments allowing exam organisers to toggle the new experience ON or OFF at Exam or Institute level.

Our Goals

• Increase exam-taker’s ability to complete the System Check (including a network check), thus ensuring confidence and alleviating anxiety before the actual exam.

• Maximise exam-taker success by moving every candidate seamlessly through the end to end workflow from registration email to exam completion.

Candidate experience highlights

• A significantly improved system check and exam workflow based on extensive customer feedback and exam-taker research.

• Exam-takers can now retake the system check as needed before the exam session.

• A network check is now added for both the System-Check as well as the Exam session.

• Professional translations in 5 of the most widely spoken languages will come standard with the offering (incl. Dutch, German, French, Italian and Spanish)

• Optimised self-help articles for the top exam-taker problem areas, such as the microphone and screen sharing.

• Refreshed mobile UX with step-by-step room scan instructions to improve accuracy of exam setup.

• A more robust and reliable web and second camera app. Webcam bandwidth use reduced by up to 75%
