New Features

• [Live Proctoring] Active Sessions, Pre Assignments and Proctors tabs under Live Proctoring page, along with the Manage Students page for LP exams now displays changes in real time (with 5-6 second delay) whenever a student session and proctor assignment related update happens. Customers no longer need to refresh those pages to see most up to date information, as it is automated.

Below screenshot shows various elements regarding this new feature. As an example; the table row of session “john doe” gets updated when:

• Status column changes
• Proctor column changes

And it gets removed from the page when Proctor evaluates the session.

Below screenshot shows another element of this new feature, which is the update notifications. Whenever a live proctored Student Session become active, or gets updated or removed as described above, it is included in notification dropdown list. It is possible to focus and highlight subject session by clicking notification item, or removing it from the list by clicking “X” button.

Please note that for busy exams with many updates, the notification list can grow significantly. However, it is hidden by default and becomes visible/hidden by clicking the bell (notification) icon button.

Above principles apply to pre assignments and proctors tabs as well.

Improvements to existing features

• [Webhooks] From now on the exam_finished event is being sent to registered webhook endpoints, even if the student fails to end the proctoring session by clicking End Exam button.
• [Exam Taker] Error message content is updated to reflect actual possible issues, to avoid unnecessary confusion.
• [Exam Taker] For any notification that the exam taker may receive, now the proctor exam browser title flashes and plays a notification sound.

Bug fixes

• [Live Proctoring] The bug which was showing different information under active sessions and the count badge of the active sessions under proctors tab is now fixed.
