Bug Fixes
- Ensure the superuser’s institute is changed when navigating to exams that are from a different institute
- Fix for an issue where only the first 10 teachers and admins were shown when editing the list of co-managers for an exam
Security Fixes
- Add a session timeout after 2 hours of inactivity, forcing the user to login again
- Various minor XSS flaws were fixed, that would allow users with superuser privileges to inject malicious code into the website, affecting other administrative users (teachers/admins/superusers, not exam takers). The flaws have criticality “Low” because only superusers can exploit them, and this is seen as highly unlikely.
Features
- Move the Proctoring settings page to the top-right cog menu instead of the left side-bar in the institute’s settings.
- You can now access the Proctoring settings and overview page under the main cog/top-right menu
- The current list of pre-assigned students is now shown for each proctor, giving an administrator a quick overview of all pre-assignments within an institute.
-
- Since proctors with pre-assigned student sessions cannot receive any auto-assignments, this often led to confusion as to why a proctor wasn’t receiving any sessions to proctor.
- You will see for each proctor if there are any student session pre-assigned
-
- On the top right, under Institute Settings, you’ll find the settings for the default number of students per proctor and the default setting when creating new exams for global or local proctoring.
-
- As before, you can still override the default number of students per proctor for each proctor individually
-
- Click on the proctor for which you want to expand the view to list all pre-assigned students.
- For each pre-assigned student, you can click Unassign to directly remove the student from the proctor; or open the exam through the link on the left (e.g. to reassign the student to a different proctor)
-
- If the student is currently online, either performing the exam setup or in the exam, you will also see the link to the support page for that student.
-
- Important note: This view only shows pre-assigned sessions, no auto-assigned sessions. If you work mostly with auto-assignment of proctors, the new page will basically show you the same settings as the old page.
