Release Notes - April 2024 – ProctorExam

All NEW exams will default to the new candidate experience after this release.

Improvements
- Improve copy of exam taker email
  - Differentiate between classroom exams and other exams
  - Clarify how to check the start time of an exam
  - Consolidate links to help and support pages.
Bug Fixes
- LTI 1.3 LMS integration
  - Fix issue when students has an email address with mixed-case/uppercase letter
  - Exam organiser unable to select exam times when the browsers locale is different than English

Bug Fixes:
- Fix for the issue that prevented administrators from downloading the zip file of all student submissions in an exam.
- New exam-taker experience: Fix for an issue that broke the custom translations after making changes, or when uploading only partial translations and keeping some of the original English strings
- Legacy exam-taker experience: Fix for an issue preventing updating a custom translation, forcing users to delete the translation first, which broke the link with all existing exams.
- Legacy exam-taker experience: Fix for an issue where missing translations are shown as error strings instead of falling back to the default language (English).

Bug Fixes:
- Fix for the layout of the reviewer/proctor instructions when creating/editing exams as admin
- Fixes an issue where exam creation was blocked when enabling the allowed materials section but not entering any items that are allowed.
- Moved the chat support window to the left corner, so it does not cover the right toolbar anymore.
