Log in to Moodle:

Access your Moodle site and log in with your instructor or administrator credentials.

Select Your Course:

Navigate to the course where you want to add a ProctorExam proctoring activity.

Turn Editing On:

Inside the course, click on the ‘Turn editing on’ button usually located at the top right or within the settings menu.

Add an Activity or Resource:

In the section where you want to add ProctorExam, click on the ‘Add an activity or resource’ link. This will open the activity chooser.

From the list of activities and resources, select the Pre-configured ProctorExam ‘External Tool’ and click ‘Add’. Alternatively, select the ‘External Tool’ activity and select ProctorExam from the list of preconfigured tools.

Configure External Tool Settings:

In the settings for the External Tool, start filling in the necessary information:

Activity name: Give a name to the activity that will be displayed on the course page (e.g., ‘Proctored Final Exam’).

Save and Return to Course:

Once all settings are configured, click ‘Save and return to course’ or ‘Save and display’ to finish the setup.
