Improvements to existing features

• [Live Proctoring] The proctor chat now loads more reliably with automatic retries and stays visible once it appears, as removing it would confuse exam takers if they had already used it during their session. If no proctor or support agent is connected, Send is temporarily disabled and reenables as soon as someone reconnects. This ensures messages don’t get lost.

New features

• [Exam Taker] Institutes can now hide the mobile placement video tutorial via a new Content Management setting. This was added so that if your instructions are customized and don’t match the video tutorial, you can remove it.

  • The setting can be found at the institute level in the Settings, under Content Management

• Note that you should change the text displayed in the instructions using a custom translation, as explained when hitting the “I” info button; otherwise, exam takers will still see a reference to the video tutorial as shown below:

• The default behavior is to set to “no” (the video tutorial should not be hidden), and exam takers see this:

Bug fixes

• [LTI] Retaking an LTI exam now updates the student’s LTI link to point to the new session instead of the completed one.
